Why I built this site
This past year, I struggled with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), a chronic disease that affects the esophagus and can make eating difficult, painful, and stressful. I often felt alone because very few people around me understood what EoE was or what living with it was like. Between medical appointments, procedures, dietary changes, and the uncertainty that comes with a chronic illness, I learned how challenging it can be to find reliable information and support.
That experience inspired me to create this website. My goal is to raise awareness about EoE, provide accessible resources for patients and families, and create a space where people can share their experiences and feel less alone. Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has been living with EoE for years, I want this website to be a place where they can learn, connect, and find support.
No one should have to navigate EoE by themselves, and I hope this project helps make that journey a little easier.
